The position is a 12-month contract, with the possibility of an extension, and we are seeking candidates who are likely to contribute to the full term. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play an integral role in improving our processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting and improving our supply chain operations. Your contributions will directly impact process efficiency, compliance, and data accuracy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating shipments from the Resource Rd. Warehouse to vendors and customers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
Assisting with annual maintenance of the Certificate of Origin database by following up with vendors.
Crafting and submitting Expense Purchase Orders (POs) for operating departments.
Handling FEDEX shipments and ensuring all logistical paperwork is accurately handled.
Providing administrative support to Customer Service and Logistics/Transportation leaders.
Supporting SOP reviews for 2025 and collaborating with Supply Chain leadership to update and upload documents to the Document Management System (DMS).
Building and maintaining databases for key areas such as: Tariff impact tracking & Distribution cost analysis
Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) cost tracking
Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly metrics and performance reports.
Participating in additional projects as assigned to support team goals.
Adhering to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), while demonstrating the core values of collaboration and integrity.
Key requirements:
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Supply Chain, E-commerce, or a related field (3rd or 4th year students preferred).
Strong analytical mentality with a problem-solving approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills; able to prioritize optimally.
Proven technical writing abilities, particularly in compliance and documentation.
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across complementary teams and stakeholders.
Confirmed initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Business acumen and a keen understanding of industry trends and supply chain dynamics.
Sophisticated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
